Artist by Night

In my spare time I indulge my creative side by painting, wood burning, and repurposing antique windows and sustainably sourced wood pieces.

What started as an outlet for my creative endeavors has developed into a small part-time business that I am running out of my new home and workshop in Parry Sound, Ontario.

Regarding the origins of my artistic style, I have always been obsessed with antique windows and only recently fell in love with pyrography, the art of wood-burning. Both my window paintings and pyrography work allow me to express my creative side in different ways but are equally fun to do. I also quite enjoy the wood-working and reclaiming side of things including the cutting, sanding, carving, and finishing process. Being the sole craftswoman behind all my pieces means I work very hard to make each piece something I can be proud of, and more importantly, something that others can enjoy and appreciate.

All of my pieces are inspired by nature, many of which feature species or landscapes that I have photographed and use as reference images. Other reference images have been provided with permission from other novice and professional photographers. I also work closely with clients to bring photographs of their own to life and encourage you to inquire about how I can re-create a particular photograph or idea of your own!
